Oece 41b-0010/50 clear waterborne sealer topcoat for exteriors: protection for wood in the garden and on the beach

41B-0010/50 is a two-part thixotropic clear waterborne sealer topcoat for items that are used outdoors. It stands out from traditional one-part topcoats for exteriors as it only dries when it reacts with an isocyanic B element that has a number of special properties, including superior resistance to suntan cream and sweat and a high level of mechanical strength and water resistance.
Sweat and sun cream can cause softening of the film and general reduction in mechanical strength, but 41B-0010/50 preserves the matt finish and performance characteristics, making it ideal for all kinds of wooden items constructed for the beach or swimming pools.

The 50 gloss 41B-0010/50 clear topcoat is ideal for gazebos, and beach, swimming pool or garden furniture and sun beds, and thanks to its superior scratch resistance it is also ideal for gates and garage overhead doors. Thanks to its special formula, 41B-0010/50 offers a high level of elasticity even after exposure to ultraviolet light, excellent vertical hold, even film spread and superior mechanical strength. It can be over-coated and applied to any untreated or pre-treated base as long as they are designed for exteriors using spray, cup, airmix, airless or electrostatic application methods, either horizontally or vertically. The topcoat can be colored in a wide range of shades using OECE waterborne pastes. 41B-0010/50 seals difficult woods effectively too, so it can be used as a sealer for wood extractives when restoring old joinery.
