2K ACRYLIC-POLYURETHANE SELF SEALER FOR INTERIORS 410-0091/XX

410-0091/XX is a two-component acrylic-polyurethane self-sealer for interiors, applicable by spray or curtain coater on veneered or solid wood. The products of the 410-0091/XX series, available in different gloss levels – 5, 10 and 25 gloss, are suitable for kitchens and interior furnishings and can be applied both as a basecoat, directly on wood, and as a topcoat. These products are mainly used in open-pore coating, with systems almost always consisting of just two applications of the same product. After the first coat it is necessary to let the product dry for approximately 3 hours at room temperature, after which it is possible to sand and proceed with the application of the second coat. The 410-0091/XX series has been formulated with innovative resins and compared to traditional acrylic systems it has greater light protection power without the need for UV absorbers. These peculiarities make the series an optimal solution for applications where the prevention of damage caused by UV rays is extremely important, such as in the nautical sector. If you wish to increase the resistance to light for particularly difficult applications, you can consider adding the UV absorber 86A-18 in quantities of 1-3%. In any case it is always preferable to check the suitability of the product and carry out a light resistance test. 410-0091/XX can be applied on surfaces coated with water-based or solvent-based dyes. The use of 410-0091/XX can be extended to artefacts exposed outdoors after increasing the catalysis to 30% with 813-30.
